Owner and founder of several successful businesses in various industries, including Life Skills Training and Alice's Tapestries I have spoken to groups and organizations on a wide range of topics.  Early in my career I managed the benefit files and employment documents for all staff and support for the U.S. House of Representatives and thensuccessfully transitioned to sales, marketing, management and motivational and technical training. Business writing and event planning events and production, as well, as ultimately business consultant to small/medium women owned businesses in start up or in growth.

Personal
Well documented, my family history has a long and integral role in American politics, architecture and the military.  The direct descendant of two signers of the Declaration of Independence, Oliver Wolcott and Samuel Chase. My father was a reporter for The Washington Post and my grandfather was U.S. Senator "Mike" Monroney, (D-OK). Great grandmother Lilia MacCauley Tuckerman , an accomplished painter, is in Who's Who of American Women Artists and the first to translate the Bible into braille. Coming from a long line of Navy Admirals, Admiral Bancroft Gherardi and Admiral Walter Gherardi and a great niece to George Bancroft the founder of the Naval Academy. Also, I the great niece of Henry Bacon, the Architect of the Lincoln Memorial and first cousin thrice removed to Andrew Mellon. Lucius Tuckerman, my great...grandfather was one of the founders of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Alice Monroney is currently editing her first book "Rugby Queens Don't Write Tutu's." Publication to be announced.
