Personal
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., graduated from Walt Whitman High School, attended five universities, five different majors, George Washington University, University of Denver, Marymount University, Cuyahoga Community College. With a love of learning I studied the law, biology, creative writing, international relations and art history. Denver and Santa Fe, NM were my home for 20+ years and have resided in Virginia Beach, Virginia for over a decade. Amateur harpist and avid swimmer, I spend my days serving my clients in the Washington, D.C and Tidewater area, playing the harp, swimming and reading. At one time I was a private chef, so love to cook.
Well documented, my family history has a long and integral role in American history, architecture and military. The direct descendant of two signers of the Declaration of Independence, Oliver Wolcott and Samuel Chase. My father was a reporter for The Washington Post and my grandfather was U.S. Senator "Mike" Monroney, (D-OK). Great grandmother Lilia MacCauley Tuckerman , an accomplished painter, is in Who's Who of American Women Artists and the first to translate the Bible into braille. Coming from a long line of Navy Admirals, Admiral Bancroft Gherardi and Admiral Walter Gherardi and a great niece to George Bancroft the founder of the Naval Academy. Also, the great niece of Henry Bacon, the Architect of the Lincoln Memorial and first cousin thrice removed to Andrew Mellon, the founder of The National Gallery of Art. Lucius Tuckerman, my great...grandfather was one of the founders of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
